This beautiful old house was the perfect place for 3 families to gather. The garden and games room provided lots of entertainment. The kitchen was a great hub for everyone to gather and had so much equipment and dishes etc. Having a separate lounge and another dining room was great for the kids to be able to play board games and chill out. The fireplace in the other lounge was lovely on a spring evening when the temperature dropped. The house was very cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The house is old so some of the decoration was a tired and the house a bit dusty. We had lots of ladybirds also staying! However this didn't impact out stay and we would have loved to know a little about the people in the old photos and olympic badges around the house! Google maps needs updating with the location as it wasn't easy to find. Or maybe provide a 'what three words' to help navigation.

Villa Amanti had all we needed for a memorable family holiday. A beautiful character building on Ventnor seafront. The interier was spacious and very clean. Linen, towels and housekeeping items were all to a high standard. The kitchen was fully fitted out and had every utensil you could possibly need. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, one with a shower, one with a bath. The area around the Villa was very quiet at night and wow what a view to wake up to ! May I recommend one improvement - the English speaking TV channels are very limited and the addition of Sky channels with sport would make Villa Amanti perfect. Island Holiday Homes were exceptionally helpful with the booking and sent all the important information about the villa in good time, even a friendly follow up call during our stay. We will be back.

The house is in a poor state, which is such a shame. Good points. The kitchen and 2 double bedrooms comfortable enough to pass. The kitchen, though old was well equipped and functional. Good response from Letting agents. The area was fabulous. Beach 1 minute away, one big doggy playground. we walked there all hours of the day abd evening. Bembridge is a lovely cosy loved village, great cafe and bakery. Now the bad points: The smell of damp hits you on entering. There were cobwebs everywhere - the conservatory was the worst. The heating seemed to come on/off when it felt like it and we had to call out the Letting agents. The lounge was always cold and uninviting with the painted over brick fireplace and very ancient sofa. We sat mainly upstairs in the main bedroom. Filthy garage. Holes in the plaster of walls. We enjoyed our stay on the IOW - along time family bucket-list visit, and just tried to ignore the bad points We will be back, but not to this unloved house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the cottage. It is spacious, well equipped and offers plenty of storage. It was great to have hand soap, clingfilm, cooking foil, etc provided. Its peaceful location is excellent - being just a few minutes away from family favourites including Blackgang Chine, Godshill model village, Shanklin and the Donkey Sanctuary. Our grandchildren loved the large garden, especially the play house and toys. We loved seeing the rabbits and birds in the garden - and appreciated the provision of bird food. We also appreciated the Easter eggs which had been left for us. We would certainly return here when visiting the Island again.
