We’ve put together answers to some of the questions our guests ask most often. If you don't see what you need here, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.
Generally you will be restricted to a minimum of 3 nights during the off season (short breaks) and generally 7 nights during the peak season, although it is becoming more popular to be flexible even during peak periods. If a property allows short breaks then you should be able to book for 4, 5 or 6 nights, but with some owners restricting the start and/or end days it would be best to telephone or email us to highlight your specific needs. The peak season periods are the school holidays i.e Spring Term, Easter & Christmas and a few weeks in between (call us for more information).
Of course you can, we would love to have you visit our beautiful Island for up to 28 days. We have often accommodated home movers in our furnished homes for even longer than this while they complete on their purchases and long lets. Being a part of Hose Rhodes Dickson (local estate agency business) our services extend to selling and residential letting homes too.
If you click on one of our properties on the website there are some useful icons highlighting the features, these are constantly updated with many owners adding features year on year. Owners will review their feedback on a regular basis so we welcome your reviews after your holiday to help us improve the accommodation on offer.
Please see our terms and conditions that are available to view on our website (or a paper version on request). We have a Booking Protect feature that you are able to add to your booking right up until you pay your balance (6 weeks prior to arrival), details available on request. We will endeavour to re-book your dates, in order to limit your losses.
We have many dog-friendly holiday homes available which you can find in the Collections section of our website. You can also give us a call on 01983 866455 and we can discuss suitable options for you.
You will have to pack essentials like shower gel, soap, shampoo, washing up liquid, milk, tea & coffee etc. But we find most guests will buy these items shortly after they arrive (some even decide to have supermarket deliveries set-up). There are no real guidelines as to what will or will not be included as all accommodation is set up differently. Some include towels and linen and others don’t so ensure you carefully read all the information you can before booking or call us to run through details on individual accommodation.
Yes, we have access to preferential trade rates so we can pass discounts onto all our customers. All routes are available (including passenger via Portsmouth). We have a ‘buy now pay later’ feature for this service.
