BRIEF STAY IN YARMOUTH

GROVE COTTAGE IS A SMALL PROPERTY, OBVIOUSLY VERY OLD, BUT FULL OF APPROPRIATE PERIOD FEATURES. MOST OF THE FACILITIES ARE OK AND THE GENERAL CONDITION INSIDE IS ACCEPTABLE. THE KITCHEN IS VERY SMALL BUT USABLE FOR A COUPLE. INFORMATION ABOUT EQUIPMENT IN THE COTTAGE IS NOT GOOD AND NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE PROVIDED ABOUT WHERE THAT IS LOCATED. SOME WE ONLY DISCOVERED ON THE SECOND DAY BY WHICH TIME WE HAD ALREADY EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS. EITHER THE OWNERS OR THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY NEED TO DEAL WITH THIS AND PROVIDE A FOLDER WITH ALL RELEVANT INSTRUCTION INFORMATION PLUS GUIDES TO USING EQUIPMENT. THE GARDEN IS PLEASANTLY INFORMAL AND BENEFITS FROM LOTS OF SUN.

Wonderful weekend stay

From the moment we arrived we received 5* treatment. Yasmin was warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much hassle. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The lodge was very clean and cosy, and beds super comfortable. There were lots of animals on the farm and Yasmin spent an hour of her time showing us round and allowing our son to feed them. The views are outstanding and location perfect for exploring the IOW. Yasmin, thank you so much. We will return. The Mcleans

Perfect location for Isle of Wight holiday

Spent two very sunny weeks at the Moorings! Having the garden to sit out for morning coffee and lunch was so peaceful and private. Moorings is a charming, comfortable and clean home. St Helens is a beautiful location with easy access to lovely walks on the beach and the Duver. The village is well served by local pubs (The Vine Inn & Steve's Bar), cafes and a village grocery shop. I highly recommend a stay to any island visitors.

Kipper cottage a wonderful find

We visted Kipper cottage for my husbands 60th birthday with our two children. As soon as we entered, we felt at home, light, spacious and everything we needed was there! Kitchen was very well equipped and the rooms were a very good size, clean, tidy and ensuites to both, showers and beds both excellent. The cottage is all on ground level with balconies to both bedrooms, overlooking the beautiful back garden and creek, a hill with path leads down to the lovely summerhouse and the creek to watch the boats and nature. Red squirrels even came to visit! We will definitely return as didnt want to leave! Thank you very much. Booking was very easy too with Island holiday homes.
